Webelos/Arrow of Light Pin Day

Webelos/Arrow of Light Pin Day will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017. This is a great opportunity for your Webelos and Arrow of Light boys to earn Adventure Pins to work toward rank advancement.

Boy Scout Troops in the District will be teaching the activities, and this is a great opportunity to see some of the Troops that the boys may cross over into. 

​Boys can earn up to three pins. Pre-registration is required, they will NOT be allowed to sign up for classes day of event. Each session is limited to 30 boys. Dens are encouraged to register as a group, to ensure that boys can take pins together.

  •   Adventures in Science*

​*By completing these pins, your son will be half way to completing the World Conservation Award.  More information can be found by clicking here

The schedule will run as follows:

  • Registration: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
  • Opening: 7:30 a.m. - 8:10 a.m.
  • Session 1: 8:15 a.m. - 9:55 a.m.
  • Session 2: 10:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Session 3: 12:50 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Cost is $22 per Scout - includes lunch, patch, and program supplies and $8 per adult for the cost of lunch.

Please contact Maggie Shelton for food allergies or dietary concerns. If adult is eating lunch, the $8 fee and pre-registration is required.

Check-in and opening will be in the event commons. Please enter through door 6 through the South parking lot. Check-in will be between 7:00-7:30 a.m.

Parents, while your boys are earning pins, you will be taking “OMG, my kid is going to sleep where?!”, a fun and interactive informational course for parents about Boy Scouts, and how it differs from the Cub Scout program. Adult supervision is required at this event. Per youth protection policies, A minimum of two registered adult leaders, or one registered leader and a participating Scout’s parent, or another adult is required for all trips and outings. One of these adults must be 21 years of age or older. One adult per youth is only permitted if attending with your own son. More details on youth protection policies can be found here:

Cub Scout training will also be provided on-site that morning.
