Internet Charter Renewal

Internet Charter Renewal is the BSA’s web-based method for units to renew their charters from any online location—at home, the office or anywhere you have internet access. It’s easy, convenient, and accurate because you enter the information yourself!

How it works:  The Unit will receive their 2018 Charter Renewal information in early October, either via hard copy packets handed out by your District Executive or via e-mail. Below are links to all the information your District Executives will share with you:

Traditional Packs, Troops, Teams, Crews and Ships

*Unit Access Codes change every year, please do not try to log into the Internet Charter Renewal System with a previous year’s Access Code. Remember:  Each year you must start your first visit to the Internet Charter Renewal System as a FIRST TIME USER.

Any charter renewals not received at the Council office by December 31, 2017, will be placed on the “Non-member” list. Any Units on the “Non-member” list will not have access to membership privileges and services offered by the Boy Scouts of America. Including but not limited to: use of camping facilities, activity attendance, advancement system and accident & liability insurance.
