Bay-Lakes Council Mission Statement
The mission of the Bay-Lakes Council, BSA, is to develop leadership traits in both youth
and adults. We will accomplish our Mission by fostering an atmosphere that:
- Inspires people to adopt lifelong positive values.
- Encourages service to society and community.
- Promotes fun and adventure.
- Instills love of God and country, and
- Embodies the ideals represented by the Scout Oath and Law.

Special Scouting Events/Opportunities
The Bay-Lakes Council derives a significant portion
of its annual income from a variety of Special Event fundraisers. Whether it is
one of three golf outings or a shooting sport event, corporations, businesses,
and individuals are treated to an enjoyable way for customers, friends and
colleagues to come together and to support Scouting in the Bay-Lakes Council.
What you can expect at these events in addition to a round of golf with cart or
shooting a round of sporting clays, is refreshments, dinner, skill events with
appropriate recognition, auction items, fun & fellowship and the knowledge of
helping the Bay-Lakes Council to deliver a quality program to our youth.
Once again the Bay-Lakes Council will offer the following special events to
raise much needed funding to support the mission of the Bay-Lakes Council. |
